Once inside, you can complete various challenges set in parallel worlds. These parallel worlds are called “Abyssal Pockets”. Investigate the 3 suggested well locations near Fohalam Farm, then head south to speak to Eileen. Afterwards, go north to the location suggest by Professor Libero. After a short cut scene, you will be portaled to a well at Erdal Farm. The object of this mini-game is to find a flare in the wreckage and set if off at the top of the ship’s prow while avoiding detection by circling pirate ships.

Hop onto it, and using the cannon’s controls, shoot the monsters trying to reach the crystal in the middle continuously until the challenge finishes. Once you are at the Magnus Well location, interact with the Abyssal Well to open a map and select your destination. You can then jump into the well to teleport to that location. There are also some parts of the Magnus questline that are only available if you have completed the Serendia and Calpheon main story questlines. The Magnus is a realm outside of the Black Desert world. You can access the Magnus by falling through a well to travel through a world rift.

It’s a pain dont get me wrong, but its better than having to cut down those trees again. With your weapons sheathed, press Q to crouch, and walk to the other side. You then have to pick up a pearl and bring it to another glowing area once the red AOEs in the roome dissapate. You simply need to pick up the pearl under the glowing light and successfully walk it to the other side of the path without getting hit by any of the orbs.
While you technically have the option to have jordine stand on one of the platforms, he often bugs out, so you can use the pearl and yourself to accomplish the same thing. So with the entrance behind you, place the pearl on the top left pedestal and stand on the bottom right one. This will open the doors on the right side of the room. Then, using class abilities, gap close into the room and the doors will shut behind you. While inside, you need to loot items to place on the tables in each room, and each room has 2 items. Interact with the flag and the sword and shield in the room to acquire the 2 items you need, and then use the wheel to get yourself out.
Jump down the well and go downstairs to speak to Wuju at the very bottom center of Magnus. Find and interract with only the spheres called “Spacetime Afterimage”. The balls called “Spatial Afterimage” will teleport you back to the beginning. After portaling in, look to your right or left for the snake, Ibedor, and talk to him.
You have 2 minutes to run to the top of the tower and finish the quest by interacting with the Device at the top. Be sure you are out of combat mode and use Sprint (Shift key). Hand Wuju the Damaged Record Device and speak to him several more times. Head back downstairs and interact with the Abyssal Altar to activate the Unseen Shadow anomaly. While the quest giver is busy at the spheres, stand in front of the Gateway and interract with it when you see groups of Rhutums spawn outside and walk towards you.
Just walk onto it, gapclose behind the mob, and kill it. At this point hordes of enemies will spawn, as well as – for some reason – glowing Dogs and Chickens scattered around the room. These are actually platforms that you need to traverse to get to the final area. Follow them until you get to the black cat, and just like that, youre done.
Then, a bunch of moving dust piles will appear on the ground that are moles beneath the surface. Simply attack them as much as you can until you eventually find the right mole. Then talk to the NPC again, complete the quest, and youre done. After completing the 3rd and final puzzle, go to the Abyssal Vein to complete the final quest and unlock teleportation to Land of the Morning Light. Follow the yellow ball of light over a small cliff and interact with the “Hard Tree” object below. If you fall off the edge at any time, you will be teleported safely back to Lara.
Youll walk into a cave and see red nose surrounded by an energy field. Your goal is to maintain the energy field around red nose at an acceptable level. Hit the red pillars to make the field smaller, and the blue one to make it bigger.
We hope these changes will make the items more useful. Go back down the stairs into the center of the Magnus. Interact with the “Abyssal Altar” to obtain the knowledge. Interact with the “Magnus Power Engine” and choose the option “[Teleport] Abyssal Sky” to move up to the top of the Magnus.
At the end of each puzzle during the Magnus questline, a Black Cat will appear when you have successfully completed the puzzle. When all 5 are correctly at the altar, a black cat will spawn. Pick them up and carry them to the altar with a beam of light illuminating it.
If not, just repeat this game over and over until you find which one has it. For this puzzle, you need to move around a shipwrecked boat and find a flare to signal for help without being caught by the pirates. Basically just run around the ship and interact with anything you can to try and find the flare. Whenever you get a prompt that says pirates are nearby and you need to hide, press Q to crouch or go underneath the water to avoid detection.
